Geelong players in new caps

Geelong Underwater Hockey Club is wearing their new CanAm logo’d caps. Funding for them was provided by the Sporting Club Grants Program 2024-25.

Other teams commented on how good they looked in their new team caps, something we have not had previously and again, not something that other Victorian clubs have.

The advantage is in how easily identifiable our players now are:

• Players were able to locate their team members underwater
• Referees could easily distinguish our players in the pool
• The same was true for other teams

The Geelong members all had an extra spring that day and were proudly wearing their Geelong Underwater Hockey caps.

The fitting we chose was a women’s, so the caps fitted the women comfortably and also the younger players on the team.

The caps have been isolated from the general pool of caps, so they are saved for team competitions. e.g., State titles, Wonni 4s and Kings Cup.
